Sitting Down to Start a Lesson: Ph1 Teaching Contingencies
This phase is designed to teach a student to come to his chair without demonstrating disruptive behavior from a short distance to receive an immediate reinforcer.
This is a learning to learn program. The purpose of the program is to have students willingly come and sit down to begin work. It also demonstrates how to deal with possible disruptive behaviors that may occur when students are instructed to go sit and work.
