Stop and Go Signs
Stop and Go signs are used for the fun and social traffic light game Stop and Go! Like the traffic light the Stop sign is in red and the Go sign is in green. To play the game one person acts as a traffic light and holds up the signs while the others pretend to be pedestrians from a designated start line. The pedestrians stop when the Stop sign is held up and go when the Go sign is up, and the game goes on until the pedestrians have reached the traffic light!
These signs are designed to mimic the “Stop” and “Go” signs that we see in our daily lives, like on the streets. It also helps children to associate what these colors mean, like green means to go. These signs are suitable for children that are familiar with colours and shapes and also can respond to textual prompt.
