Lack of spontaneous communicative initiations appears to be a consistent problem in individuals with ASD. When Cheuk Cheuk first came to AP, he couldn’t communicate with out therapists effectively too.
Over the past few months, we have designed different programs for him to learn simple yet important communication skills like, Requesting, Asking questions and Giving directions, as well as other non-verbal communication means.
