Receptive language means the ability to understand information. It involves understanding the words, sentences and meaning of what others say or what is read. It’s a very crucial skill to facilitate successful communication.
When Cheuk Cheuk first started ABA at AP, he was not great with his receptive language. Often times, he failed to follow some simple instructions.
We started teaching him receptive instructions, from receptive labels of concrete items to abstract concepts such as colors and actions. Now Cheuk Cheuk is able to follow more complex instructions! Let’s check out his great improvements in receptive language over the past few months.
