Staying at Assigned Places
This program is about a learning to learn skill. The purpose of the program is to teach students how they should wait and stay at an assigned place when the adults around them are busy.
This is a waiting program. The purpose of the program is to help students establish this beneficial skill to use in day to day life in different settings, like at home or at school, using a timer and a card.
Following Out of Chair Instructions
This is a following instructions program. The purpose of the program is to have students learn to go away from the therapy area to retrieve items and return back to their chair. It also works to develop the student’s memory, scanning skill and overall participation.
Sitting Down to Start a Lesson
This is a learning to learn program. The purpose of the program is to have students willingly come and sit down to begin work. It also demonstrates how to deal with possible disruptive behaviors that may occur when students are instructed to go sit and work.
Hold Hands to Walk Together
This program teaches students to hold an adult’s hand while walking in the community.
Attending Taught Via Cool vs Not Cool
This program uses the Cool vs Not Cool procedure to teach students to attend to a therapist, even in a distracting environment.
